Contest Winner Announced!

The 2nd Annual Isotopes Student's Choice Top Educator Essay Contest is from Rudolfo Anaya Elementary!

The Winner of the Second Annual Student 's Choice Top Educator Essay Contest is Elizabeth Stanley at teacher at Rudolfo Anaya Elementary. The student, Zoe Clever, wrote the essay that was selected.

Second place was awarded to student, Gloria Lucero, Rio Grande High School.  Her essay was about teacher Albert Martinez.

Third place was awarded to student, Kasey Heckroth, Osuna Elementary.  Her essay was about teacher Phillip Friedman.

Students wrote about how much they appreciate their teacher, principal, librarian, coach or other educator. Over 250 essays were submitted.

The winning educator and student will receive complimentary tickets to Educators' Appreciation Game Night at Isotopes Park on May 23 and will throw out the first pitch. They will also receive $25 Dion's gift cards each.
