Buy 'Wicked' Tickets through APS, Help our Kids

The APS Education Foundation is making it possible for our employees and families to purchase tickets for the New Mexico debut of the fabulous Broadway musical.

“Wicked” is wonderful.

“Wicked” is available.

Tickets for the New Mexico debut of the fabulous Broadway musical  “Wicked” go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 29, through the APS Education Foundation as a fundraiser that will benefit in-classroom academic programs throughout the district.

“Wicked” will run through Sept. 17 through Oct. 5 at New Mexico’s top fine arts venue, Popejoy Hall. The Foundation is the first to have tickets on sale for the Wednesday, Sept. 17 showing.

Prices are as follows:

  • $175 for premium and mezzanine seats
  • $109 for orchestra level
  • $97 for lower balcony
  • $78 for upper balcony.

Beginning Wednesday, you may look at available seating and purchase tickets on the APS Education Foundation website – apseducationfoundation.org – by clicking on the “Wicked” icon.

Prices include a modest upsell that will help benefit the Foundation, which works to raise money and awareness of the many successes in Albuquerque Public Schools.

A winner of multiple Tony Awards, “Wicked” is the story of the witches of Oz – long before a young lady named Dorothy dropped in. One witch, born with emerald-green skin, is fiery but misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious, popular. The story sketches how two unlikely friends become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

Don’t wait … “Wicked” will be gone for good very soon!
