Anchor Built Donates $5,000 to APS Horizon Campaign

APS Foundation Nearing Its Goal to Raise $1 Million

Anchor Built, Inc.: A Proud Supporter of the Mission of the APS Education Foundation

As owners of a small construction business, Ray and Roberta Zamora understand the importance of building a solid foundation. The motto for their company, Anchor Built, Inc., is “Construction from the Ground Up.”

So it’s not surprising that Anchor Built is the latest contributor to the APS Education Foundation’s Horizon Campaign, donating $5,000 to support district programs including fine arts, literacy, middle and high school activities and classroom teacher mini-grants.

The Horizon Campaign is the Foundation’s first-ever attempt to raise $1 million on behalf of district programs. It is well on its way to meeting that goal, raising more than $600,000 in cash and in-kind services.

Other major contributors to the Horizon campaign include Intel, Don Chalmers Ford, Sandia National Laboratories, the Public Service Company of New Mexico, Comcast, Technology Integration Group, Wells Fargo, Larry H. Miller Foundation, Bradbury Stamm, Westwind Landscaping and Gerald Martin. A variety of individuals also have been key supporters.
