This list of common grant terminology should help you decode your call for grant proposals.

Audit:  A predetermined amount or percentage of the grant total charged by the fiscal agent (APS) to cover the organization’s audit costs.

Indirect costs:  A standing percentage of the grant total used to cover miscellaneous costs for fiscal management of the grant.
