The APS Education Foundation
We’ve got nearly 90,000 students in APS, and our mission is to help them graduate with a well-rounded, top-notch education that creates a lifetime love of learning. We do this in a variety of different ways, all of which center on help from our community, alumni and friends. We raise and manage funds for strategic investment to support student success and achievement, with a focus on aligning these resources toward academic success. With the help of the Join-A-School program, we also mobilize resources and develop community partnerships to help our kids and teachers.
Initiatives
Toward our goal of academic success, the Foundation has created a variety of initiatives that will supplement four major programs in need of your help: Fine Arts, Middle/High School Activities, Literacy and Science/Technology/Engineering/Math. The most public of these efforts is our Horizon Campaign, which has raised about $800,000 in cash, in-kind donations and pledges.

You’ll get to know more about the Foundation, our terrific board of directors, our dedicated staff. But mostly, we hope you’ll get to know the promise and potential of the kids in Albuquerque. They’re terrific. They deserve the best.
Our goal – with your help – is to make sure they get it.
Thanks for coming by, and make yourself at home.
