Project Success / Crossroads is a substance abuse prevention / early intervention program aimed at providing a wide array of services to schools, students, parents and communities by placing substance abuse counselors at each  APS high school.

As a result of being a part of the school community, Crossroads counselors can provide awareness education to 9th grade health classes, early intervention services to those at-risk for substance abuse, intervention programs, Parent Involvement Program for youth and families in violation of the schools substance abuse policy, as well as make referrals to community providers for those in need of more intensive services.

In a recent study, students who participated in interventions, like the Parent Involvement Program, as a result of a discipline infraction, were 80% less likely to have a second infraction.
