APS uses an online scheduling tool to reserve space at schools and other district buildings. The web-based process not only eliminates paperwork but also allows schools and the district to track events and account for usage expenses.
Those interested in reserving space in a school or other APS building can go online to check availability and to fill out a request form. The requests will route electronically through an approval process and updates will be sent by email.
This new process will reduce the amount of time it takes to process requests. The online program also has some handy features that will help coordinate custodial, security and other event set-up services. In addition, the program will help collect usage fees.
Paper building usage forms are no longer accepted, except from community groups with limited or no computer access.
Organizations with outstanding invoices for facility use will not be permitted to submit new requests until balances have been paid.
School locations are closed for Spring Break 3/20/17-3/24/17, Vernal Holiday 4/14/17, Memorial Day 5/29/17, Independence Day 7/4/17, Labor Day 9/4/2017 and Fall Break 10/12-10/13/17.
Notice to community users: The online portal will be closed from 6/1/17 through 6/30/17 in order for schools to enter their 2017-2018 schedules. Community groups may submit requests for the 2017-2018 school year beginning July 1.
