Hey you guuuyyysss!   Many parents will remember that beloved catchphrase from the original, THE ELECTRIC COMPANY. Over 30 years later, the show has been re-energized to relate to today's kids with a hip, young cast and a dose of pop culture. It strives to power up children's fundamental reading skills with music, humor, technology and celebrities.

On the afternoon of October 22nd, the show is coming to town to engage several hundred first through third grade students in an event which will include a 90 minute presentation and activities with Shock, the host of the Electric Company. Students from after school programs at Kirtland, Whittier, H. Cordero, and other schools will then enjoy other fun hands on learning activities and celebrate Lights On After School.

This event is made possible through a partnership between KNME, PBS Kids Go! and the APS Before and After School Programs unit.
