Class Activities Continued

During our science unit called Finding Out, we made predictions and tested them.

Here we are playing a game called Peanut Farm.  It reinforced drug and alcohol lessons we had learned in our Foxy unit.

We played Charades during our animal adaptation unit.  It helped us to see how we can communicate without sounds and how animals use body language to communicate.  We are acting out "hungry".     Kate and Babes from Watermelon Ranch came to talk to us about taking care of our companion animals. She taught us how important it is to spay and neuter our pets.  Babe could do lots of special tricks.

During our animal adaptation lessons we tried to figure out which beaks were best suited for which foods.  We discovered that some birds could eat different foods while some had beaks suited only for one type of food.
