Healthful Classroom  Snacks -

  • Apples with caramel dip
  • Grapes (they're fun frozen)
  • Orange Slices Applesauce
  • Melon cubes
  • Dried fruit
  • Low-fat yogurt with fresh fruit
  • Yogurt covered raisins
  • Carrot or celery sticks with peanut butter
  • Carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, or broccoli with low-fat dip
  • Peanuts or other nuts
  • Pretzels
  • Air-popped popcorn (or light/fat-free microwave popcorn)
  • Baked tortilla chips with salsa


Beverages
100%  fruit juice mixed with club soda
Vegetable juice
Sugar-free Lemonade or kool-aid
Low-fat (1 % or skim) milk (chocolate milk is ok too )

  • Pita pockets with peanut butter, bean dip, or hummus
  • Whole-wheat crackers with peanut butter or low-fat cheese
  • Turkey breast and lowfat cheese tortilla wraps
  • Graham crackers with peanut butter

  • Vanilla wafers
  • Fig bars
  • Gingersnaps
  • Bagels with peanut butter or low-fat cream cheese
  • Frozen yogurt or sorbet
