Meeting was brought to order by President, Cindy Davis.
Open House was a success. We sold $473.00 worth of t-shirts; $342.95 of pizza and sodas; $11,127.05 at the bookfair for the entire week, which gave us a net profit of $2781.77 (25% profit at cash level).
Amy Keller introduced Ernest Maestas, a Crime prevention specialist with APD, who came and spoke on crime on the west side. He told us how he did his job and how he researches gangs, drugs, etc., and how it impacts our city and specifically our area. He gave some suggestions on how to keep our children safe from sexual predators and what to watch for, and how to be alert and aware of possible meth and other drug sale houses.
All in all it was an excellent informative program. Thank you Amy.
