SUBSTITUTE PACKETS
In order to carry out an effective instructional program, lesson plans must always be available. Please prepare and submit to the office a substitute packet that will be available should you be unable to plan for a substitute due to an emergency. These generic lesson plans will be given out when regular plans are not available. These are due to the Principal by September 1, 2001.
Substitute packets in the office and classroom need to include

If you need help preparing a good substitute packet please talk to your grade level chair.
If you are planning to have your class go to the Media
Center computer lab please reevaluate. There is not teacher in the
Media Center lab unless previously scheduled. Most substitutes are
not capable of handling students in the lab. Many problems have occurred
with equipment and software do to substitutes. If you really want
the sub to take the students, please leave explicit instructions on lesson
plans, clean up and operation of the lab.
