Software for computers can be purchased through textbooks funds, software funds, bilingual monies, etc. Some teachers purchase specialized software using personal funds or classroom fund raising activities.

Please be aware that all APS schools are required to follow copyright laws regarding copies of software. If you have software on your computer that you do not have a license for the technology coordinator is obliged to remove it from your computer.

Lavaland has many school licensed programs. Other programs have been purchased for use by the appropriate grade level. Some programs are available for checkout in the media center. If you want the school to purchase a particular program then send the request by email to the technology coordinator (lynch@aps.edu).
