90% of identified gifted; have learned the system; learned well; score high on IQ and achievement tests; are usually  identified for gifted programs; rarely exhibit behavior problems; often become bored with the system; get by with little effort; are dependent upon parents and teachers; fail to learn needed skills--but they do achieve; are liked by their peers; are dependent upon the system; young adults may underachieve in college.
