Bill of Rights Institute has a large selection of free lesson plans
available to teachers looking for a way to bring the Bill of Rights and
the Constitution to life. Primary Source Activities, Citizenship and
Character Lessons, and Historical Narratives offer new ideas for the
study of the amendments to the U.S. Constitution and how those
amendments affect U.S. society.


Teacher's First Frontier Forts Site If you’d like to show your elementary students a little more about what life was like in early America, try a visit to our Frontier Forts of the Revolution site. While the time period is eighteenth century, the site includes photos showing how children played and food was prepared in
early America. 

The PBS Kids Democracy Project - From Blue Web'n - Want to give elementary students an understanding of how the government plays a part in our daily lives, or what the President of the United States does during the day? This easy to navigate site lets students 
explore these topics, or go virtually into the voting booth.
