Chelwood Students Visit The Ronald MacDonald House
Students from the gifted program and members from the Student Council went to visit the Ronald MacDonald House. The students had worked to make orgami paper cranes and took 1000 of them to the families staying at the house. According to a book the students read, the paper cranes are a way to encourage someone who is having health problems. The students also sang songs for the residents and watched a video about what happens at the Ronald MacDonald House. It was a very touching time for the students and the families.
After the visit, the students were treated to a lunch at MacDonald's on Lomas. Everyone appreciated it and had a great time.
Below are a couple of pictures from the visit.
