  Kid Quote:
During Self Selection a student went up to Mrs. Landolfi and said, "Hey!"  Mrs. Landolfi said, "Hay is for horses!"

A few minutes later another student walked up to Mrs. Landolfi and said, "Teacher, I thought you told us that 'H' was for horses."

       Homework folders
    are due  on Monday's

During flu & cold season, make sure to give your child medicine at home.  If your child needs medication during the school day, you need to talk to our  Nurse DD so that she can give you a doctors orders form.  We CANNOT give ANY meds in the classroom at anytime!
 Take time each and  every
 day to  read to
and  with  your  child.  What  a   wonderful
 way
to end  or start the  day
 and  spend  some very
 precious  time
  together!

Please make sure that your child returns his/her book before his/her library day so that he/she can check out a new book.  If your child has lost or can't find his/her book, please check with our librarian, Mrs. Fifield, to find out how to handle either your replacement of the book the book or payment to have it  replaced.

If your child buys his/her lunch in the cafeteria each day, make sure to check with the cafeteria manager rom time to time to make sure that your child does not have any outstanding charges.  Don't forget that you can check each
days lunch menu on the APS website.

Also, thank you so much for the snacks that you send daily.  The kids really enjoy the social time and eating the yummy goodies!

A True Story About Three Kindergarten Teachers:

Once upon a time there were three kindergarten teachers named Miss List, Mrs. Landolfi, and Mr. Chavez.  Between the three of them they had over 53 years of teaching experience.
These three teachers loved teaching kindergaren and loved their students very much!
Each year there was a new group of children who were eager to learn and anxious to begin school life.  The three teachers always wanted to make sure that each and every child felt safe, good about themselves, and that they did their best in class.  It was very important to these three teachers that each child was to be treated like an individual and that teaching them developmentally appropriate skills was very, very, important!
It was normal and a daily occurance to hear much laughter and some craziness coming from the classroom of the three teachers.  Seeing happy, secure children from this classroom was expected.
The three teachers really did believe that the children are the future and that it was their job to give the children all of the important tools that they would need to take them into that future.
They, the three teachers and the children, lived happily ever after.
                                      NEVER THE END!
