                         MISSION
The mission of our classroom is to provide individual instruction to each student based on their social, emotional and academic needs.

All students in an inclusion classroom benefit from the environment.  Students with special needs benefit by having role models and general education students have the opportunity to see throughout other students eyes, develop their ability to build relationships with children who have special need and learn tolerance and compassion that will remain with them for life.  All students work at their highest potential in a classroom with the best of both worlds.

The Classroom Pledge
I pledge to try to do my best every single day.  Listening, learning and being fair when I work and play.  Keeping hands and feet to myself, treating others with respect, making sure our things are neat, is what we should expect.
I’ll listen when my teachers speak and follow every rule.  I pledge to be a good citizen in my classroom and my school.

*Our class discipline policy is as follows:  Students that break the classroom rules or are off task will be reminded of the expectation and will be asked to demonstrate his/her learning the behavior.  If children continue inappropriate behavior, they will be told to put their heads down on their desks or sit on the carpet.  Children who continue the inappropriate behavior will lose recess and/or other privileges.  If there is a pattern of inappropriate behavior or if serious behavior occurs, parents will be notified in writing or through a phone call.  Individual behavior plans will be followed.  We are grateful for your  support at home with our policy at school.
