Fifth Grade

The Changing Earth
Ecosystems
Weather

Fifth grade students have had the opportunity to complete a variety of projects in the computer lab. Curriculum for them is designed to be more open; they do more WebQuest and scavenger hunt kinds of activities. It is hoped that by working in this way they will develop the skills necessary to research on their own without specific parameters and will become more independent as they move on to middle school. Also the fifth graders seem to move more quickly through their topics so shorter projects work best.
