Meal Prices and Charges:

USDA required that schools begin increasing their paid lunch prices to equal the reimbursement rate received for free meals. The School Board approved a lunch price increase in the spring to the following:

Elementary: $1.85

Secondary: $2.10

Elementary students may charge up to 10 meals, middle school students may charge 5 meals and high school students may charge 2 meals. If meal charges exceed these amounts the student will be offered a courtesy meal consisting of a cheese sandwich, milk or juice, and fruit or vegetable.
