Measurement, Analysis, and Knowledge Management
Our school and classroom goals need to be stated in clear and measurable ways. In the best organizations and classrooms, information is used to drive actions. At GOK, we use the data from our short cycle assessments, classroom tests and assessments, as well as our state assessments, to determine how our students are progressing academically. This information is used to determine what is working and what is not working in our curricular program and what changes are needed. Item analysis on our short cycle assessments is required. Teachers collaborate at grade level meetings and Goal Team meetings to determine, then share, best instructional practices school wide.
