Griegos is a Blue Ribbon School! This is the work of everyone for the last six years and is a very high honor bestowed upon schools of excellence. In November 2011, Griegos received the award in Washington D.C. from Secretary Duncan.

Welcome to Griegos, the finest elementary school in New Mexico. As a combined team of parents, teachers and students we can achieve and meet the highest standards we set for ourselves or those mandated by the state.

We have a strong sense of community at Griegos and high parent involvement. This involvement helps all children achieve to the maximum extent possible. The effort of the PTA in fundraising events has a direct impact on student achievement and well being. Please become as involved as possible, the results will be well worth the effort and time put forth.
