The GBPTA is proud to serve our school and students. Our goal is simple: to provide the staff with assistance both in volunteer hours and money to provide a safe and educational community for all included. Programs
Governor Bent PTA provides several programs for the students, including Once Upon a Theater and Parents Night Out. Watch for other fun PTA programs.
School Photos
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet lots of children and have a great time. Our school has a photographic company come take the student’s and staff’s pictures in the Fall and in the Spring. The company handles the money; the chair handles the coordinating of the event between the studio and the Principal, calling upon individuals to help comb hair, etc.
Executive
The Executive Board consists of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and the Principal. Meetings are held monthly.
Fundraising
This is an extremely important function in which all who attend Governor Bent fundraise for programs and items needed for the students. Fund-raising events include Butter Braids sales in the Fall, Mixed Bag sales in the Spring and the Spring Fling basket auction.
