Life: Students solving real problems and making important decisions and speaking honest concerns.
Democracy: each student has a personal representative. The majority decides what’s best for the most.
Responsibility: Each representative carries out the wishes of students in activities to improve our school.
...Learning is what school is about. We learn about life, democracy, responsibility and ourselves.
Mr. Sanchez's class has a team of students who look out for our energy conservation. The make weekly rounds of the classrooms checking to see if lights are out, machines turned off that are not in use and rewards those who are being careful. They remind classes to recycle paper also. We appreciate the way they make us aware of taking care of our environment.
Mrs. Hancock appreciates the group of faithful students who help her take care of the technology equipment in our school. The lab assistants run the virus scans, load software, clean the lab, change the desktop pictures and handle the camera equipment. They also assist by making "how-to" movies to teach teachers to use our software. They are trustworthy students and earn the right to be called Mrs. Hancock's assistants.
