After-School Program
After-School Program
Purpose: To provide a safe and wholesome environment for students to participate in creative and healthy activities.
The after-school program at Governor Bent Elementary School is comprised of the following clubs: Chess Club, Computer Club, Mighty Miler/Math Games, and RAZ Kids Computer Reading. To view information about the clubs, click on the club name or on the links at the top of the page.
The program is administered by Coach
Anderson (Coach A). He can be reached at 881-9797 if you need
additional information concerning the after-school program. Application
forms for the clubs are available from Coach A or at the school office.
Please be aware that some of the clubs have limited space; therefore,
applications are processed in the order they are received.
Students are not allowed to walk home from
school when crossing guards are not on duty. Therefore, parents are
responsible for picking up their children promptly at 3:00 on the day a
club meets. Please understand that two late pick-ups will result in a
student being dis-enrolled from the club.
