The students in my class will participate in a nightly
reading and writing program. I am asking that parents please
support this program by encouraging their children to read each night,
preferably at a scheduled time. Each student will bring home a reading
log which will require a parent’s signature weekly.
I do not expect each student to write every night.
I would like to see from 1 1/2 to 2 pages written every week. Students
are assigned a day to share their writing with the class. If
your child is in my class, please make note of this day and remind your
child to be prepared. Also, please check your child’s writing spiral
every week before he/she brings it to school to read. |
