OUTSIDE SPEAKERS

 

Teachers who wish to have guest speakers lecture to their class should make all of the arrangements; however, the appearance of the speaker must be cleared with the scheduling assistant principal well in advance of his/her visit.

 

In addition, the principal's secretary should be given the name of the speaker, the date he is to appear, the name of the teacher by whom he was invited, and the time and class where he is to speak. By making this information available, it will reduce the confusion which frequently occurs when a speaker arrives in the office uncertain about his appointment, and no one knows to whom he should be directed. Requests for approval of guest speakers should be submitted to scheduling assistant principal a week before you wish to have a speaker.
