Duty
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH EXPECTATIONS:
Teachers, please review with students.
1. Students will form single lines in any food line. They are to stay behind the line on the floor until it is their turn to buy. Cuts or passing money is not allowed.
2. Students will remain seated, with legs facing the table, while they remain in the cafeteria.
3. Students are responsible for leaving the area they eat in clean, inside or outside.
4. During all lunches, students will not return to the cafeteria during the last 5 minutes of lunch. This enables staff to get read for the next lunch and clear the cafeteria.
5. After A and B lunches, students are requested to enter the building from the north or south entrance. This helps eliminate a traffic jam in the cafeteria.
6. Lunch detention will be held for violation of lunch expectations.
DUTY STATION EXPECTATIONS:
MORNING DUTIES
Students should enter the building through the cafeteria before 8:15 a.m.
CAFETERIA - 7:45 - 8:00
1. Students should stay in the cafeteria before 8:00 a.m. No students should be in the halls before 8:00 a.m. without a pass.
CAFETERIA - 8:00 - 8:15
1. Students should throw away any trash from breakfast.
2. Students may enter lower hallway or go to media center from cafeteria. Food may not leave the cafeteria.
3. Students who stay in the cafeteria must be seated with their legs facing the table.
SOUTH HALL
1. Students should stay in lower hall between northwest doors and counselors' office. They should not be in the south hall without a pass. Teacher is to be stationed by counselors' door.
NORTH HALL
1. Students should stay in lower hall between northwest doors and counselors' office. They should not be in north hall without a pass. Teacher is to be stationed by north doors.
UPPER HALL & ATRIUM AREA
1. Students should stay in lower hall between northwest doors and counselors' office. They should not be in the middle or upper hall without a pass.
2. Students are only to enter the atrium or upper hall doors before 8:15 a.m. with a pass from a teacher.
3. Students are asked not to play ball in the grass area south of the atrium.
MEDIA CENTER
1. Maintain an orderly manner in media center.
2. Help students when applicable.
BUSES
1. Keep any vehicles other than buses out of parking lot.
2. Greet buses.
3. Give any bus problems to administration.
MORNING DUTIES, continued:
PORTABLE AREA
1. Students should stay in the patio area, front ground, or cafeteria until the 8:15 a.m. bell. They need a pass to go to a portable.
EAST TEACHERS' LOT GATE
1. Keep students out of parking lot. Direct them to walk on the sidewalk.
2. Encourage parents not to block the driveway or drive to the back of the school.
AFTERNOON DUTIES
BUSES
1. Keep students behind fence until their bus has arrived.
2. Students should stay on sidewalk until their bus has come to a complete stop.
3. If you should see high school students on campus please ask them to leave and/or notify an administrator.
4. Please be on the lookout for potential conflicts or fights.
HILL BY SWIMMING POOL
1. Students should use crosswalk to cross Juan Tabo.
2. Please be on the lookout for potential conflicts or fights.
3. Students should not throw anything at passing traffic.
EAST TEACHERS' LOT GATE
1. Keep students out of teachers' parking lot and away from the cars. Direct them to walk on the sidewalk.
2. If you should see high school students on campus please ask them to leave and/or notify an administrator.
3. Please be on the lookout for potential conflicts or fights.
CAFETERIA
1. Students should exit cafeteria as soon as possible.
PATIO
1. Students should exit patio area as soon as possible.
2. If you should see high school students on campus please ask them to leave and/or notify an administrator.
3. Please be on the lookout for potential conflicts or fights.
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF GYM
1. Watch for potential problems in this area.
2. If you should see high school students on campus please ask them to leave and/or notify an administrator.
3. Students are not to walk across the field.
