Assembly Procedures

When we are having a school assembly, please observe the following procedures:

 

- Talk with your students about expected behavior.

 

- Dismiss your students according to the pre-arranged signal or when your class is called.

 

- Walk with your students as they go to assembly. Remember there are other classes in session as you walk through the hall. Please remind them to be quiet.

 

- Help your students find a place where they can sit together.

 

- Stay with your students during assembly and monitor their behavior.

 

- Walk with your students back to your classroom at the end of the assembly.

 

- Teachers who have multi-grade classes should make an arrangement with another teacher who has the same type of class to divide students according to grades and go to the appropriate assembly with adult supervision.

 

Assembly schedules will be posted prior to assembly. Students and teachers will be called to gym on the P.A.
