Morning Announcements

Help us keep students and staff informed while keeping announcements at a minimum.

 

1. Any announcement you wish to have read must be submitted to the main office secretary, in writing, on the announcement form by 2:00pm the day before it is to be read. It must also be initialed by an administrator.

 

2. If you wish to make an announcement yourself you need to report to the office by 8:25am and your class must be covered.

 

3. The same announcement cannot be read more than twice in the same week and should be read on alternating days.

 

4. Announcements should be complete, clear, and concise. (Include who, when, where, how and why).

 

5. The PA announcements must be reserved for information that students need to hear. If you wish to inform staff, please use the weekly newsletter, teacher boxes, the EMS distribution list, or the chalk board.

 

6. Each nine weeks a selected student will read the submitted morning announcements.

 

7. All students should be required to be quiet and listen to the announcements and Channel 1.
