Science Bowl Champs!
8th-Grade Team Wins Regional Science Bowl! 
The Albuquerque Academy sent Eisenhower's first place state team to Washington State University, Vancouver, to compete in the Bonneville Power Authority's Regional Science Bowl. Daniel Appel, Jeff Dimiduk, Martin Rudolph, Daniel Wright, and their coach, Steve Brügge, spent four days in Vancouver, Washington. The Eisenhower team did not lose a single game in the Regional Bowl held February 17, 2001. They competed against 40 teams from 22 schools in Washington and Oregon. Daniel Appel received an "All-Star" award for answering the most questions correct in the morning round. Coach Brügge was also given a computer projector for his classroom. Kudos to all involved!
