Eisenhower Middle School is our school. Every person--student, staff member, visitor, parent, community member--has a responsibility to contribute something of himself/herself to make it a special environment for learning and growing to take place. Improvement in intellect, involvement in responsibility, and enhancement of self-esteem and success are all a part of the Eisenhower experience. We are proud to have you as an Eisenhower General and look forward to our school year together.
Mrs. Hamilton received her BS in Elementary Education and her MA in Educational Administration from UNM. Before coming to Eisenhower in 2002, she was at Desert Ridge Middle School and Comanche Elementary School.
Tonya Abernathy, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Abernathy earned her teacher's license and Master's Degree in Education through UNM in 1988. She earned her administrator's license and Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from UNM in 2004. Before coming to EMS in the fall of 2005, she was a teacher at LBJ Middle School.
