I am an educational assistant for special education. I am a high
school graduate from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. I graduated
with a degree in cosmetology from Heights Beauty College. I practiced
at this trade for twenty eight years. In 1996, I decided to change
careers and that was the best move I ever made. I am a single divorced
parent with a 42 year old son named Steve and a 40 year old daughter named Michele. I also have three grandsons Adrian
age 18, Patrick age 9, Matthew age 2 and four granddaughters Ashley age
15, Lauren age 11, Rachel age 7 and Dana Mei age 2. I also have a wonderful daughter-in-law
named Susan and a great son-in-law named Abel Chavez. My philosophy in
education is to build a strong foundation in reading, writing and arithmetic
and meeting the needs of our special children.
