Cafeteria News! The school offers a balanced breakfast and lunch program at a reasonable cost. Milk may be purchased separately and a juice vending machine is available in the Cafeteria. Students may elect to bring their lunch from home. Some students may be eligible for free lunches or a reduced-cost lunch, depending on family income. More information on this program is available at the office. To save children from carrying money every day, lunches can be purchased in advance in the cafeteria. They may be purchased daily, weekly, monthly, or in any amount you wish. This information is computerized and the student will be notified when it is time to purchase more lunches (when there are three lunches left). Written notices are sent home when your credit has been exceeded. Checks can be made payable to Double Eagle Elementary. You can also pre-pay your child's meals on-line at mylunchmoney.com. If a child has lost his/her lunch money, the child can "charge" a lunch for that day. However, APS expects repayment the next day and requests your cooperation in teaching your child the importance of repaying their debts promptly.
