computers in the classroom, and much, much more." EdWeb hosts WWWEDU
one of the best discussion lists around for educators using the Web. *Kathy

- Make Your Own:
This
program creates a variety of worksheets, including multiple choice, matching,
fill in the blank, etc. *Microsoft
Office Teacher Tools: This
is a free download from Microsoft for educators. Includes a variety of
templates for teachers, students, and classroom activities. Each week your Guide provides
elementary educators with entertaining and informative articles, lesson plans
and ideas. Also has is a Nifty website to help
build school webpages (or any webpage for that matter!). *7,300 Excellent Lesson Plans, Projects and Activities
- Here's
another one for all you over-burdened educators! The Dept. of Ed's Gateway to
Educational Materials (GEM) site is designed to retrieve free educational
materials on any subject and any grade level. GEM contains more than 750 of
the best lesson plans and classroom activities from 140 federal, state,
university, non- profit, and commercial organizations. Make sure you visit
"Hot Topics" for curriculum materials related to upcoming holidays
and themes. Currently, you'll find more than 7,300 resources in GEM, with
new
ones being added daily. Check it
out!
