Welcome to
the Library!
The Double Eagle Library
welcomes students to check out books and see special classroom displays.
Students have access to the library during regularly scheduled library class
time and on an as-needed basis. Students are welcome during morning and
afternoon recesses as well as during class time, with a library pass from their
teacher. Frequent book exchanges are encouraged! Kindergarten
students may check out one book at any given time for the first semester of
school. In January they are able to check out two books at any given
time. 1st thru 5th graders may check out two books at any given
time. Overdue books should be returned before another book is checked
out. PLEASE NOTE: If a student has a book overdue more than 1 month, they
will not be allowed checkout privileges until the overdue book is returned or
paid for.

Library Volunteers Our Friends of the Library volunteers help students all year by checking books in and out for them, helping to locate books and information, and testing students for the various book clubs.
Please consider being a volunteer. Stop by the library and talk to Lisa or any Friends of the Library member. |
We have been very busy with all of our book clubs! The active book clubs are: |
Friends of
the Library
Thanks to the friends of the Library for all of their
support. Our library program could not function without their
support. Jane Smart and Margaret Michael are the F.O.L. co-presidents.
They are frequently in the library and can sign up friends and
volunteers. Membership simply requires a donation of any amount.
Come join our parents and others who keep things exciting in the Double Eagle
library!
