Student Responsibilities

Each child deserves the best learning environment possible in order to develop to their fullest potential.  The following classroom expectations are designed by the students and teacher to support a positive learning environment. Students are expected to:

Always Respect Each Other
Treat others the way that you want to be treated.

Be kind to others. No fighting, teasing, or put downs.

Always Act Safely
Always walk instead of running in the building.  Always ask to leave the room.

Enter the classroom ONLY when a teacher is present.  Never throw things.

Never bring dangerous objects.  Never scratch or hit.

Stay inside your own body bubble.

Always Be Fair
Listen. Raise your hand when you want to talk. Only one person talks at a time.

Let others concentrate by using an inside voice.

Let others enjoy their lunch by having a nice quiet conversation and sitting still.

Always Do Your Best!
Be ready to learn and work.  Follow school and classroom rules.

Follow directions.  Do your homework.  Finish your class work.

Rewards for appropriate behavior are:

·         Academic success and personal satisfaction

·         Verbal praise

·         School wide awards and certificates

·         Class rewards for cooperative group efforts.
