Kindergarten
Ms. Montoya & Mrs. Johnson
Children are unique
individuals with diverse cultures, development, and learning styles. Each child learns at his own pace because of
his own unique pattern and timing of growth.
Children need a rich environment where they can feel comfortable to
explore and take charge of their own learning.
They learn best through active engagement and from interacting with
other children. Success encourages a
student to continue learning. Focusing
on successes, rather than failures, will encourage a student to be a life-long
learner!
What to expect ?
Students can expect to have
fun while learning!
Students will get to apply
skills, such as reading, writing, and math, in meaningful ways, through a
hands-on approach.
Students will learn letter
sounds/blends through stories, songs, and motion.
Students will be encouraged
to become life long learners as they experience, create, and discover. We value each learner and his own learning
style.
Our classroom team members
tailor teaching moments to individual needs.
Opportunities for
interaction help students to develop respect, cooperation, and confidence. Students will learn from each other and build
a sense of community through large and small group interaction.
We believe that all children
benefit from becoming members of a caring school environment that celebrates
differences.
Not only do we learn
together but also learn to respect and value each other.
