A science and technology committee meets monthly to make decisions about all aspects of technology at Comanche.  We have been extremely fortunate at Comanche to have parents and community members as a part of this committee.  Grants have been received for professional development and equipment.  The committee also created a technology curriculum and an acceptable use policy for Internet access for use at every grade level.  In the past 5 years, with the assistance of network NM, 3 net days have been held to pull cat 5 and fiber optic cable used to network the entire school.
    Eight of our teachers have attended classes on integrating technology into the curriculum and will mentor other teachers to share this knowledge.  Classes are offered monthly to all staff members to assist in learning new applications and the integration approach.  We have 2 Intel Master Teachers on staff and the entire staff will soon be trained in the Intel Teach to the Future model.
