What is the PTA?
The national Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is the largest not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens working together to enrich the lives of all students and better our communities.  By joining the PTA, you become a voice of hope and support for future generations.

Who can join the PTA?
Anyone can join; parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors...even your friends and co-workers are urged to join.

What does it cost to join the PTA?
The annual membership fee is $6.00 per person or $10.00 per family, which includes membership in the local, state, and national PTA. $2.00--Comanche PTA, $3.00--NM State PTA, $1.00--National PTA.

Why join Comanche PTA?
When you join the active and successful Comanche PTA, you work with other parents and teachers who actively support a variety of programs that directly affect your child/children's education.

What do you get for your money?
* Field trip buses for each classroom
*Computer hardware and software
*Financial support for the music program
*Funding for all classrooms
*Financial support for teacher professional development
*Grounds maintenance and improvements
*Financial support for the Albuquerque North Science Center
