Cochiti Community Group is a very active and supportive group consisting of Parents, Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. Thanks to all of those who give so graciously of their time, talents and efforts.

The monthly meetings of the Cochiti Community Group have been changed to the third Thursdays of each month (with possible exceptions). As always snacks and childcare will be provided.

Everyone welcome. We need everyone's involvement to make Cochiti a better place for our children!

Las juntas mensuales de la Organización Comunitaria de Cochiti han sido cambiados para el tercer Jueves de cada mes (con posibles excepciónes). Como siempre, habrá cuidado de niños y bocadillos.

There are many ways to volunteer at Cochiti Elementary. If ou are interested in helping in the classroom, talk to your child's teacher. Here are other ways you can help out:
**Library (contact our Librarian, Jill Logan at 345-1432 ext. 55527)
**Gym/Mileage Club* Grounds/Garden*Workroom*Computer Lab (call 345-1432 leave a message in the office and someone will contact you)

Any help is always appreciated. Below you will find a listing of our officers and how we are organized. We hope to see you around school!

COCHITI COMMUNITY GROUP (CCG)
At some schools the parent groups are called PTOs, PTAs, or Boosters Here at Cochiti we recognize that many of our students are being raised by extended & non-traditional families. The CCG includes all of us who are involved. Meetings are held the 3rd Thursdays of the month at 6 pm in the Parent Room.

COCHITI COMMUNITY COUNCIL (CCC)
The CCC is made up of 8 volunteer positions. Four of these representatives were elected by the CCG at the end of last school year. Some of the council positions are shared by more than one person.

CIC Rep. Jolene Baca jovelbac@gmail.com CIC is the Cochiti Instructional Council and is made up of teachers, staff and parents. The council discusses curriculum and anything that impacts instruction. Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday @ 2:15pm. If you are interested in attending or want to share your ideas contact Jolene.
