To the Voters of Bernalillo and Sandoval Counties

A message from Superintendent Winston Brooks.

February 2, 2010

On behalf of Albuquerque Public Schools, I want to thank you for your support of the APS School Improvements Election held today. Your approval of the $616 million bond and mill levy package will transform our schools over the next four years as we make critical repairs to older buildings, upgrade technology and purchase equipment that will provide safe and healthy learning environments for our students.

Over the past few months, we also have stressed the impact these funds will have on the local economy because of the thousands of people who will be needed to work on these projects. Two vital needs have been filled in this election.

Your confidence in APS is appreciated and we look forward to continuing to educate your children.

Winston Brooks
Superintendent
