Labor Relations

The Office of Labor Relations will:

  1. Negotiate all collective bargaining agreements on behalf of the Board of Education and will handle employee grievances in accordance with Board Policy H.01 and the provisions of each negotiated agreement.
  2. Attempt to resolve employer-employee disputes that may arise as a result of the provisions of the negotiated agreements.
  3. Establish procedures to insure compliance with negotiated agreements and Board Policy H.01.

Administrators and other employees should contact Labor Relations with questions or problems regarding the above.

This procedure is to be applied when collective bargaining is scheduled, when grievances are filed, or when problems regarding terms and conditions of employment occur within recognized bargaining units.
