G.12 Exchange Teaching - February 1996 Revision

Note: This policy was revoked in July 2011 and is no longer current. We provide it here for historic purposes only. Please refer to the current Personnel policies for more information.

Certified school instructors who have been employed by the District for more than three (3) years may apply to the Superintendent requesting exchange teaching. Such exchanges are limited to one (1) year.

Salaries are to be paid by the respective districts in which the teachers are regularly employed. For the purposes of calculating experience, salary, and retirement, the exchange year will be considered as a year of teaching in the Albuquerque Public Schools.
