B.03 Suspending or Revoking Board Policies - February 1996 Revision

Note: This policy was reviewed, revised, and renamed in June 2010. We provide this revision for historic purposes only. Please refer to the current policy.

Any policies of the Board of Education, not specifically prescribed by statute, may be suspended or revoked by a majority vote of the Board.

The Superintendent of Schools may, in case of emergency, suspend any parts of policies and directives as they pertain to the administration of schools; provided, however, that the Superintendent will report the facts and reasons for such suspension at the next meeting of the Board and provided further that the suspension will expire at the time of said report unless continued in effect by the Board.
