JL - Student and Staff Wellness and Welfare

Albuquerque Public Schools shall maintain a coordinated school health and wellness program to maintain healthy students and employees.    This program shall promote the Coordinated School Health Model, which includes the following eight components:

  • Nutrition
  • Physical Education and Activity
  • Family, School and Community Partnership
  • Health Education and Life Skills
  • Healthy and Safe Environment
  • Social and Emotional Well-Being
  • Health Services
  • Staff Wellness

Administrative Position:

  • Assistant Superintendent of School and Community Support

Department Director:

  • Director of Health and Wellness
