Legislative Update - Wednesday, February 23
February 23, 2011
We’re about halfway through the legislative session, and APS continues to have representatives in Santa Fe advocating on behalf of our 90,000 students and more than 14,000 employees. Throughout the session, if you should have any questions or if you plan on going to Santa Fe on official business, please contact:
- Joseph Escobedo, special assistant to the superintendent (Escobedo_j@aps.edu);
- Carrie Menapace, policy analyst (carrie.menapace@aps.edu); or
- Brenda Yager, executive director of Board Services Office (yager@aps.edu).
Please remember that the use of district technology resources is a privilege granted to employees for the enhancement of job-related functions. Employees may have limited access to these resources for personal use, if they comply with the provisions of the Employee Technology Acceptable Use Policy. Although we believe it is important to voice your political views, employees expressing political opinions should NOT use the APS email system. Political emails also are time stamped and should not be sent during your duty day. Employees are encouraged to use one of the many free email services when sending personal or political emails.
