The New Mexico Legislature is in session from January 15 through mid-March, and APS will be there every day to advocate on behalf of our students and employees.

While our main focus will be on making sure public school children receive sufficient funding, there also are a number of other items on the district’s legislative agenda.

To follow the process, check this Legislative Affairs page regularly.

If you have questions, concerns or plans to go to Santa Fe on behalf of APS, please use our feedback form.

APS Employees: Although we believe it is important to voice your political views, employees should not use the APS email system to express political opinions nor should political emails be sent during the work day.
