Andrea Trybus oversees human resources at Albuquerque Public Schools, including:

Biography

Ms. Trybus’  career with APS includes:

  • Currently Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Albuquerque Public Schools
  • Director of Employee Relations and Staffing 4/03 – 8/03
  • Principal of Emerson Elementary School  1998 – 2003
  • Literacy Coordinator 1997 – 1998
  • Assistant to South Region Superintendent   1995 –1997

Also Assistant Principal at Taft and Jackson Middle School and Summer School Principal at La Cueva HS.  Her career also included roles as Secondary Clinical Supervisor for APS, Language Arts Department Chair and Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at Washington Middle School.

Ms. Trybus holds a Education Specialist in Secondary and Adult Education (Ed.S.) degree, a Masters in Secondary and Adult education from the University of New Mexico.  She completed her BA at the University of Michigan English/History.  She is currently certified with a New Mexico Administrative License, a Professional 7-12 Secondary with a Language Arts and Social Studies Endorsement and an Instructional Leader license.
