Albuquerque Public Schools has approved a new Release of Student Information to Recruiters and School Campus Visits procedural directive.

The procedural directive, approved May 14, 2010, outlines when students and families will be notified of the requirements to release information, outlines the procedures recruiters will have to follow when visiting schools, and provides the situations in which community service groups with an educational focus may access students.

Included are the Exemption-from-Disclosure form that families may complete if they do not wish to have their students information released.

This procedural directive was approved on May 14, 2010, and accompanies the new Recruitment in Schools Policy, which was approved on May 13, 2010.
